Expediting Hospital Appointments

When patients contact their local hospital to find out when they might be seen, especially if they feel their symptoms have worsened, they are often told to contact their GP for an "expedite letter".  If you feel that your symptoms or condition has worsened since you were first referred please complete the form available by clicking this link and return it to our Secretarial Team so that we can send a letter to the hospital on your behalf.

Please note that waiting a longer time for an appointment does not deem your request urgent.  We are unable to write letters to expedite your appointment for this reason alone.
